VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PAST PARTICIPANTS: We have already set up a new account for you; request your username and password here BEFORE you register.

Bike MS New York City Traffic Free is a preeminent bike event featuring the only route allowing participants to circle Manhattan on closed roads, including the FDR, West Side Highway and Lincoln Tunnel. Cyclists can choose to ride 30, 66 or 100 miles while experiencing the City’s numerous ethnic and historical neighborhoods and breathtaking views.

Join us in celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Bike MS New York City on Sunday, October 4. Unlike many bike events, Bike MS New York City is unique in limiting the ride to approximately 5,000 participants, maximizing the opportunity for an exciting and enjoyable ride. In the past 24 years, Bike MS has raised over $15 million toward creating a world free of MS.

General Event Information:
Date: Sunday, October 4, 2009
Registration Fee: $35 (increases to $50 on August 1, 2009)
Fundraising Minimum: $100
Route Options: 30, 66 or 100 miles
Age Minimum: 12+ (Participants between ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a guardian and submit a notarized waiver). If you are under the age of 18, you can only participate in the 30 mile route option.

Important Information For Past Participants:
Please note your account only contains your contact information. To be able to access your old fundraising reports, donor information and emails you will need to retrieve that information at http://www.bikemsnyc2008.org/

Unfortunately, Bike MS will take place on the Jewish holiday Sukkot and the chapter apologizes to anyone who cannot participate in the event because of religious observances. Events and other holidays occurring on weekends in September and October precluded the chapter from hosting Bike MS on another date. Those who cannot make it on October 4 are always welcome to participate as a virtual rider.
