GP SPORTS & NUTRITION

GP Sports and Nutrition’s cycling and athletic program is designed to support your mental and physical improvement. Through evaluation, training, and motivation, the program will help you conquer the biggest challenge you face: your mind. Becoming a member of Team GP Sports Cycling or Athletic Program ensures you will receive the best information, guidance, and support that will aid in your athletic improvement. With supervised training and nutritional guidance you will safely enhance your performance. THE TRAINING GUY

The Training Guy is Bike MS Committee Chair and avid cyclist, Michael Pagano. An expert on bicycle routes in Southern New York, Michael hosts weekly training rides and is a helpful resource for training tips and bicycle maintenance. Follow the Training Guy on Facebook for more up-to-date training ride and bicycle maintenance information.


TRAINING PEAKS

TrainingPeaks is an interactive, Web-based training log and food diary designed to help individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. Subscriptions to the basic edition are FREE to our cyclists, and they have the opportunity to download custom-written cycling training plans for beginner and intermediate cyclists. These plans were developed exclusively for us by renowned cycling expert Joe Friel, author of “The Cyclist’s Training Bible,” and the new official coaching partner of Bike MS. TrainingPeaks also features weekly goals, and daily e-mails to help you keep a consistent workout schedule, and examples of sample work-outs that are available for upload. Click here for more information.
